Advisory: IMPENDO team members provide advice and guidance services to various pubic and private sector organisations surrounding technical, legal (international law), and strategic (or political) matters. Technical options of what “can be done” are good to know, but knowing your legal options of what “may be done” are better. Align that with strategic or political views of what “should be done” is really what an organisation must consider.
Public Speaking: IMPENDO team members have international public speaking experience. Our papers have been peer reviewed and published in various journals and conference proceedings. Have a read of our abstracts and papers on our website. We are continually expanding our knowledge with further research and collaboration with international colleagues in various domains including law and cyber.
Conference: Annually, IMPENDO hosts an international conference in Ottawa, Canada. It’s called “Data Centre Architecture Roadmap” or DCAR. DCAR stands for more than just the acronym. Our topics have covered physical security, logical security, emissions security, cyber security, cyber and the Law of Armed Conflict, disaster scenarios and stories, cloud strategies, topical projects of the region, and many more. We have had speakers from U.S.A., Canada, and Europe and try to out perform the previous year’s sessions. Our conference is free to attend so we hope to see you there.
